When
determining which of your extra or outdated electronics,
software and hardware would be helpful, consider the
following:
Do you have electronics, software, or hardware
which could assist in running an internet café?
Examples include:
- Network printers
- USB mouse
- Easy-to-understand computer manuals
- USB memory sticks
- External Drives
- Virus and spam filtering software (new versions
only)
- Universal power stabilizers (UPS)
- Scanners
- Network management tools
Do you have any equipment which would enable DevelopNet
to increase its offerings?
Examples include:
- Digital cameras
- To document works and communicate overseas
- To capture additional content for the DevelopNet
website
- Laptop computers
- To enable training and education programs
to extend outside the café and deeper
into village communities.
- Cooperative gaming software
- To attract younger customers to the Internet
Café, and to acquaint them with computers
through gaming.
- Overhead projector
- For application of training seminars and
to be used for community center conferences
and workshops
Do you have any technological
tools or informational resources which could assist
the running of a small office, business or nonprofit?
Examples include:
- Network printers
- Digital Camera
- Project management software
- Money management software
- CRM or other business development tools
- Subscriptions to fee-based online tools and journals
Any other various or sundry item, of greater than
$30 value, which could be useful throughout the daily
operations of a small business. |
